Relief Society President Camille Johnson’s recent comments about life being "hard" have raised more than a few eyebrows, and perhaps the heart rate of some sisters in Parowan. It’s a classic case of a spiritual message accidentally veering into the Lord's bedroom.
"I'm on paid sabbatical from BYU in exchange for my promise to use this time to finish two books."
For anyone (else!) who was wondering about it, I've found no evidence that President Johnson also wrote this advice to divorced & widowed Mormons:
This cannot be real
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
