Robert Boylan asking for donations in lieu of a job

It seems moving back in with his parents wasn’t enough, the man has now decided to beg Mormons to be his main source of income in lieu of holding down a job.
Hello! My name is Robert Boylan. I am perhaps best known for being the owner/proprietor of the “Scriptural Mormonism” blog and youtube channel. I have previously worked for the B. H. Roberts Foundation/Mormonr as a Senior Research Analyst.

Due to long-standing health issues which have flared up recently (e.g., severe migraines), as well as a pretty depressing diagnosis regarding my liver (and all the issues that will last a lifetime as a result), I am setting a gofundme to cover forthcoming expenses for (private vs. public) medical procedures and other medical-related expenses. If you (1) feel inclined and (2) are in a financially steady position to do such, feel free to donate.

Funds will be used for (1) private medical consultations and procedures; (2) medicine and (3) funds to support oneself as one will need to roll-back hours one will be working.
As many MoPologists have pointed out, Robert is one of the most intelligent, smartiest, well-read defenders of the faith. It’s definitely interesting that Mormon God has chosen to give Boylan, His greatest champion, so many roadblocks to becoming a fully self-actualized and self-reliant adult.

Someone on the other thread pointed out that his asking for help with medical bills is a complete scam because medical care is free in his country.

He says that he is looking for help with paying for private care (still available in his country) rather than using the public system.

Even here in Canada, where USians' greatest fears about healthcare come true, private clinics provide services that are not available, or that may involve a long wait.

For example, I have a non-urgent condition for which I've waited several months just for a consultation with a specialist. I expect to wait another four or so for corrective surgery. If I were prepared to pay out of pocket, I could have had the surgery within a week of diagnosis, and in spa-like surroundings rather than in a public hospital with walls in the latest shades of battleship gray.

I wonder if I should start a go-fund-me?

I wondered who might be those "many MoPologists". A quick squeek with a non-google search engine for "robert boylan is one of the most intelligent smartest well-read defenders of the faith" produced this reddit thread from 3 years ago as the top hit (after a link to Boylan's blog):

Midnight Mormons took a vote and the consensus was clear: Robert Boylan is the GOAT, the best LDS apologist ever!

Chino Blanco seems to be impressed:

In stark contrast, Robert Boylan is most definitely garbage:Image

Boylan thinks he is smarter than everyone, including his leaders, so he could never submit to them.

At this rate, Robert’s GoFundMe profiles are going to need their own "Senior Research Analyst" just to keep track of them all.
