Would you please stop using Patheos to send your posts? The ads are annoying, pervasive, and offensive, and it's disconcerting to see a headline like "Walking in the Light of Jesus Christ" followed immediately by a block of photos of scantily clad women in suggestive poses waiting for a "chat."
If you need suggestions about how to set things up differently, please let me know. I'll be more than happy to help.
Best wishes,

I have absolutely no control over the ads that appear on my blog and, honestly, I neither look at them nor notice them. But Patheos has been very convenient for me and, to the extent that I have an audience, I would likely lose a significant portion of it by making a move.
It’s actually very easy. There’s way too many Mormons worried about drinking Diet Coke, eating coffee ice cream, and showing their bare shoulders. Just be like Dan. Even if your blog website has immodest advertisements, just carry on. Stop worrying about it!

I recommend that DCP make contact with
Radiant Digital to request that the ads be removed. As Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, “Abstain from all appearance of evil” (
1 Thess. 5:22). President James E. Faust
taught: “If we are trying to avoid not only evil, but the very appearance of evil, we will act for ourselves and not be acted upon.”
I note that DCP has another blog:
Vox Nostrum. Rumor has it that Elder Matt S. Holland sacredly called Brother Pittman to set up the blog with DCP as a co-founder. I cannot go into great detail about Brother Pittman’s specific calling, but I will say that Elder Holland instructed Brother Pittman during the setting-apart blessing to study a specific
Office clip:
Creed’s Blog.

Why would Peterson lose a significant portion of his so-called audience were he to change to a venue without ads? I suspect he means he would lose the income he gains from those adverts of scantily-clad women appearing on his blog page. He is currently profiting from what might be deemed “soft porn” in Mormon circles.

Patheos is owned and operated by Radiant (formerly BN Media, LLC), a Salt Lake City-based media organization. The parent company also operates Beliefnet and is affiliated with Deseret Management Corporation.
Who can blame them if they want to make money with gambling ads, soft core ads, etc. That’s just smart business.
Virtues are for the
little people in the pews struggling to pay rent and feed their families.

LOL. Jack told us a lot about his search history. The ads are catered to his revealed preferences. To see him complain in the act of revealing what he has been up to is hilarious.

To be fair to him, I’ve been getting ads about “hot single MILFs in my area” since I was 13. And I wasn’t looking for them
Patheos could probably opt out of these kind of ads, being a Mormon company. But it would likely affect their bottom line so they eschew their religious morality and hope no one notices.

I suppose they could!
