Who knew that sitting on a $500 billion investment hoard would turn the church into just another big business pushing product with sex appeal? The last two decades have completely changed the church into something completely unrecognizable.

When I was at BYU I was with a performance group, and after our shows we would 'mingle' with the audience for PR purposes.

At one show, I think in Idaho, an old man was requesting photos of each girl. Being the 'well-behaved' Mormon girls we were, many posed, until he began requesting side photos. It became obvious he was angling for boob shots, exactly like the last photo in Everybody Wang Chung's post.

That old man in Idaho got shut down pretty quickly, but who knew, decades later, that the old men in Salt Lake City, the ones running the lds church, would use the very same technique in their PR. Who exactly are they trying to attract?
