The dynamics of belief include surrounding oneself with like minded individuals and feeding off of one another.
That sounds more like cannibalism. : D

The physician said, “It doesn’t hurt to have several million people praying for you.”
The physician didn’t say it helped though, now did he...
Lol. Nope. But for purposes of plausible deniability, one shouldn’t commit either way. These guys know how to ‘feed off’ their audience! (Which canpakes noted is cannibalism, so in reality they’re on shaky ground here...)

My point is that as like minded individuals associate with one another and support each other in their views they are acting as a support system for one another. Feeding off of each other’s contributions, etc.

In other words’s, on this board in particular, strengthening the faith and belief of others in the validity/veracity of non belief in the truth claims of the CofJCofLDS and in the truthfulness of secular belief and agnosticism/atheism. There are a few exceptions, of course.

That, I suppose, is one of the main purposes of this board. And it’s a natural and expected thing to do. Human beings need that community support to help define who they are as people. Obviously, members of a church do the same thing.

MG

Absolutely. But I was having fun with the whimsical interpretation. : )

Otherwise, breaking bread in the midst of shared support would definitely be the better option than my literal take on your post.

You reminded me of a very funny exchange on the old board that resulted in the question: "do they eat stew in heaven?" which was answered with this picture:

In the article about Church leaders receiving their vaccinations, Holland is pictured receiving the injection whilst sat on some kind of walking aid/frame that doubles as a seat.

Picture shows Jowls with some sort of waking
Contrspation with a hand brake barely seen- reminds me of " slow down you move too fast you got to make the apostleship last, feeling
groovy ( from that Fentanyl patch)"

Under his breath Jowls was heard saying: "Just my luck if those damn hand brakes jam and I would be toast- better check I think Packer used this before me".
