Daniel C. Peterson Has This Correct Entirely
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/danpeters ... ublic.html
The Mormtards who wouldn't know the definition of stupid, ignorant, or inspired, anymore than they do traitor are more proof the Holy Ghost isn't even powerful enough to get any accurate information in their dumb skulls.
Mormtards think Romney is the traitor in this country after the last 2 months, not to mention, literally 4 years?! I didn't like the idea of Romney as President and I said so loud and clear a few years back, but what a stalwart, what an anchor for Democracy he is right now! I entirely agree with Dan Peterson that the Mormtards in Utah are off their rocker dumber than stupid. The cost of a lack of education is dearly showing in our country right now, and I can only say alongside Dr. Peterson, we SERIOUSLY need to start changing that. Mormontards, STICK IT. Go home and read your comics. You're out of your depth.
Good job Dr. Peterson on at least trying to talk to your own Mormtards, but it ain't gonna work and we all know it. The correct cure for them is not quoting the Book of Mormon, but getting them into Critical Thinking Skills 99 classes so they at least know the difference between traitor and patriot, between stupid and stupider, between redneck and Mormtard (not much difference there)

What a missed opportunity. They could have easily spun this into fulfillment of the White Horse prophecy. The Constitution was kinda hanging by a thread, and Romney gave a pretty strong defense of the Constitution.

A different spin on the prophecy. The Constitution hanging by a thread due in part because of the support of fascist leaning authoritarian worshiping members.

Well we are not in safe harbor yet, one could say the wheel is still in spin. I take some hope in Romney hearing a moral call in the story of that horse and something important hanging by a thread.Philo Sofee wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 5:10 amRight? One really GOOD chance to show a REALLY GOOD fulfilled prophecy, and the rednecks blow it. Well Mormons will Morm...

It is a shame Dr. Peterson has to stifle himself at all because the hyper-believing Saints have glommed onto Trump as "the one mighty and strong". I like how someone put this in that other thread:
Trump unleashed American Fascism, which had lain dormant since WWII, with his Great Eye. Cultic followers then scuttled out of the pits of Mordor and Kane County, Utah in response. I hope Dr. Peterson is successful in ridding the Church of this menace by remaining totally silent about it for the sake of Interpreter donations.
Romney's bravery cannot save the Party of Sedition from the grave that has been dug for it by the sniveling and traitorous Senators Hawley and Cruz. Those two are poopy and they have smeared their party with it.
Correction - not all posters at Sic et Non are clones of Subgenius and Ajax. They have some thoughtful people, as well as Lou and Kiwi.
Mitt Romney has shown extraordinary courage to stand up to the would-be tyrant Trump when all his Republican colleagues were curtsying whenever Trump gazed upon them. Romney may have his faults, but he had the courage to stand for something.I have to agree with Dr. Peterson on several points: It was boorish of those Trump cultists to hassle Mitt Romney at the Salt Lake City Airport, and Donald Trump is a terrible person who has mesmerized the majority of Utah Mormons into thinking he is their new messiah. Much like Dr. Peterson, I too want to slap them around or apply increasing levels of electric jolts until they snap out of it. It is so cruel just to leave them as hopeless zombies. Interesting how we share such similar thought processes. Perhaps that is due to singing the same primary songs. Wonder if we share the same liking for extra-strong ginger beer?
A couple of more observations on that thread: It contains information that would be interesting to Dr. Scratch regarding the three crazed-donors, and Sic et Non is a blog full of people who are politically much like our own Ajax and Subgenius.

Utah doesn't deserve Mitt Romney. If the moron rednecks feel that strongly about their ridiculously outrageous messiah, let them follow him to the hill to be crucified with him and slaughtered as the ancient Canaanites were. It would be great riddance of pernicious idiocy from our beloved country.
If Russ Nelson was just a smidgin inspired he would be able to lead the people, but Romney has shown Nelson what a wimp of a prophet he is, and how to really get people to follow him,. Granted they both have succeeded however in making each of the peoples of followers blazingly dumb first in order to believe everything they say. Nelson ain't near the personality as Trump is, so that's why personality followers flow to Trump, poor Russ. A seer stone and no one to throw it at.....Just when ya need a Joseph Smith in Utah to save a prophecy and the Constitution, a moron Donald Trump shows up and steals the souls and show... Poor Utah.

I believe this to be true. Mitt has certainly navigated recent events with aplomb. Who knows? In the long run, his leadership may turn out to be of great benefit to the LDS Church, as well as to the badly damaged Republican Party and the nation itself.Physics Guy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 7:02 pmMitt Romney is doing more now than ever before to earn Mormons respect from the world.

Romney is taking a lot of crap from Utah Mormons currently because he challenged their Trump messiah. Hopefully, Dr. Peterson can dispel this notion with his silence.DrW wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 7:26 pmI believe this to be true. Mitt has certainly navigated recent events with aplomb. Who knows?
