It does seem to be a very small first printing. Ebornbooks.com has 40 copies of the softcover in stock. Interpreter’s website announced more than nine months ago that “Both hardbound and softbound editions will [be] available for purchase from Amazon.com.” I haven’t seen any editions—hardbound or softbound—on Amazon.
As I commented back in February, filling the festschrift with a load of rehashed pieces was a bit of an insult. Publishing the volume through Eborn is a second insult. The fact that Interpreter apparently printed so few copies seems to be a third insult.
What an utterly shameful way to treat a so-called “friend.”

I think Tom means the Interpreter had 100 books printed rather than just 40. Perhaps it was more economical to print 100 and the Interpreter already purchased 60 to give as Christmas presents to donors.
I think it fits in with a general pattern of behavior. Dr. Peterson has a long track record of bad-mouthing his "friends" behind their backs--Midgley included. I think he has a certain amount of token affection for Midgley, but the proof is in the pudding. DCP has always seemed far more interested self-aggrandizement. The friend I mentioned above occasionally sends me a link to something truly bizarre being posted on SeN. I don't know if you noticed it, but lately he's complaining about social media, and how it can be used to engage in "cheap deceit." This coming from the guy who posts links to "Neville Neville Land" nearly every day, and who's lied pretty much non-stop about his compensation for serving as "Chair of FARMS."
