Surely the Lord God will do nothing but reveal the unforeseen pandemic to his servant the prophet and not throw a monkey wrench at his own Church and thwart his own missionary program.

To be fair, the pandemic and all of its unforeseen consequences has thrown a monkey wrench into just about everything, including missionary work. My guess is that it has had an impact on other churches and their outreach programs also.

Wait a year or so and see if the numbers start picking back up again. I wouldn’t get wrapped up in contortions about it. Although it does give some of you folks something else to have a conniption fit about.

It’s difficult to ascertain what effect world wide fasting has to do with outcomes in this instance. Obviously there wasn’t a worldwide instantaneous miracle of epic proportions.

That seemed to be the expectation of some folks.

As normalcy returns I think missionary outreach will increase again.

That relief is coming. albeit slower than we would like. Much of it due to common sense and science. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest that along the way there have been miracles.
