DCP Has Found the Lamanites!! In the Heartland

In the latest volume in in the DCP vanity journal, Doctor Dan goes into great detail to show at least through documents from Church History, and from Scripture the mission to the Lamanites. Now which ones? Hard to say because so far there are no peer reviewed studies showing that the Shawnee, or the Delaware tribes have Middle Eastern DNA.
Now his article does support the Heartland folks very well
The most important point that DCP leaves out of his article is that the fetishisation of Native American Women was part of the "revelation" used by the church to justify Joseph Smiths Polygamy. Which when described as "the new and everlasting covenant" is one of the most important components of LDS doctrine and theology.

Ah yes! Who among us can forget those carefree days when the "Indians" were Lamanites, and the Hill Cumorah was the Hill Cumorah, and the golden plates were translated with the Urim and Thummim, and Joseph knew Egyptian, and the word 'Polyandry' could nowhere be found in Bruce R. McConkie's lexicon, and Bigfoot was Cain, and the Three Nephites changed more tires than Les Schwab?
Thanks Dr LOD! Your post is as the scent of pine and the sound of running water on a cool spring day. Bless you!

Obviously, if you guys were half the historian/scholar Peterson is, you would realize that elsewhere in the History of the Church the Lamanites are described as living in Mesoamerica. You just have to dig a little deeper is all. Peterson doesn't want to completely shame the Heartlanders, so he skipped over those references to "the truth" of their location. This is being saved for the second anointed to know and enjoy the "celestial" knowledge of Lamanites, instead of the mere telestial "Heartland" version which is for public consumption. Sheesh!

You should have seen the old High Priests squirm around a few years ago when I started talking about the Gospel of the Lamanite according to FARMS (just for the fun of it). It nearly got me called into the Stake President. Goes to show that the Gospel of FARMS isn't the same as what happens in the LDS church houses.
It is funny how DCP ignores the problems the 1830 Lamanite mission, and related revelations create for the Mesoamerican Model, and Peregos DNA excuses.

Lets just keep that little gem of Mopologist doctrine in our mind that there is no such thing as Chapel Vs. Internet Mormons shall we?

This is what the church is trying to get back to so their conversions will go back up. They need to make up for lost time for allowing the Mopologists their twenty years and tens of thousands leaving the faith. They gotta refurbish the pews! Mormonism was on the verge of becoming a world religion using these old doctrines, and Mopologetics raised its self-righteous arrogant head, and injured the church's bottom line with their mental gymnastics, losing many many converts and members, and hence tithing, so they have embarrassingly had to resort to Stock Market Investments to make up for lost revenue. They really don't want that much money, so they are going back to Joseph Smith days thinking so they can sell off their investment portfolios and regain lost spirituality.

"The Book of Mormon is considered by the LDS church to be "Inspired Scripture." The primary purpose of the Book of Mormon is to bring about the restoration of Christ's church in these latter days, and all other considerations of this holy work are of very minor importance or even no importance at all to your salvation. Do not allow your intelligence and ego, and your desire to put the events of the Book of Mormon into historical context, to lead you astray by poking and prodding at minute details. This was not God's intended purpose for you."

Are you suggesting that the Lamanites were actually Hopi-kins?
