Over on exmormon Reddit today Paul Toscano rants:
“ I ask you: Who is going to believe that the LDS Church is divinely guided through its God-called apostles when they—the Church’s own apostles—have blamed its racism on the Lord? have blamed its misogyny on the Lord? have blamed its homophobia on the Lord? have blamed its xenophobia on the Lord?”

In addition he blames Boyd K Slacker for conniving
the September Six Excoms and rips RKB along with
Armand Mauss, the BYU church history profs and even the FARMERs who knew the truth of Joseph Smith history but remained silent providing no support for the six being exed.
He said they were silent so they could get favored access to the church archives.
Quite a rant but Toscano says he still believes in Joseph Smith spiritual experiences and output - he is taking lots
Of flak over that position on the exmormon Reddit thread.

I was in law school with him. Nice guy. Not a deep thinker when it comes to religion. Good law student.

Toscano Laments

My nearly 40-year-old lament is that the Mormon revelations, especially what Richard Bushman calls the “exaltation revelations,” have been either ignored, misread, or misinterpreted by the LDS apostolate beginning with Brigham Young and ending with the most recent First Presidency and Council of the Twelve. My lament is as valid today as ever.

So could someone please enlighten me on two points. #1 What exactly are the Exaltation Revelations and # 2 How exactly have apostles since Brigham Young misinterpreted them
