Spring Fever!

My case of spring fever is severe this year. Preferably, I'd be on an airplane right now to La Jolla beach, but that's not an option, so I'm doing the next best thing and having a party tonight. The grill is set to go, the speakers on the deck have passed sound check, playlist is ready, cupcakes are baked and the beer is in the fridge. I'm putting the final touches on the house and washing stackable lawn chairs that have been in the garage all winter and then I'm set to go. I wish my friends from MDB could come. Wouldn't that be fun?

School is out next week, so making summer plans has been a large part of the last month or so, which has only added to my antsyness. I'm even making up more words than usual. ;)

I hope everyone has great plans for this Memorial Day weekend and less spring fever than me. I'm barely functioning!

Summer? My summer doesn't start until July 1. Then I'm taking almost the whole month of July off and half the month of August. Until then though, it's run-and-gun, balls-to-the-wall, hair-on-fire screaming down the hallway stress.

I've got to raise $1.6 million by the end of June. *banging head on keyboard*
