Unless someone asks you to define "the gay lifestyle".

Of course, I may only be partially correct. I doubt that you were crying when you chose to repeatedly evade the question.

for what it's worth, I agree with and back liz3564 100%.

Threads get split all the time. Blatant derailments also get split all the time. It's nothing new.

The fact that you'd consider a routine reclassification to be akin to MA&D moderation indicates that you haven't really thought things through.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I don't think not answering a question qualifies. Where is the bawling? I'm still here and I have all my toys with me.

That I believe in a freer form of expression than you do? Yep.

The post was about veterans and their travails; oppression in this case. Quite on topic. The thread was split because someone couldn't handle the conclusion.

MADB moderation can't handle conclusions in the political arena either, even when they have everything to do with a gospel topic or the topic at hand. Apples to apples all the way.

Great, I know where we can get some pink thongs for this year's Pioneer Day parade.

You are so full of crap, it's pathetic.

You really need a review lesson in reading comprehension.

Here is the OP of the original thread, which is entitled, "I salute and honor all veterans":

Pok wrote:I want to salute and honor all of our Veterans everywhere.

Thank you.

You are my heroes.

It was meant as a celebratory thread. I actually contemplated moving it since the thread was posted in Terrestrial, and had nothing to do with Mormonism. The reason I left it in Terrestrial to begin with was due to Veteran's Day, and the celebratory nature of the OP.

Your post was NOT celebratory. It was NOT on topic. Your post, and ALL posts, including my own, that were not celebratory in nature, were moved to this thread.

I also posted a cross-reference link to this thread, so that those who wished to continue the political conversation you started could continue it.

Did you bother to read the cross reference?

Here is my last post on the other Veteran's Day thread:

http://www.mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3 ... 98#p275998

Are you honestly saying that I am attempting to censor you in some way, simply because I disagreed with you?

If that is what you are saying, then you have miserably failed at explaining how.

If I really wanted to censor your comments, I wouldn't have posted a cross-reference plain as day in the other thread.

The only similarity that I see is that MAD has a separate section for political topics, and so do we.

Our section, though, is more broad. The Off Topic section is a catch-all for anything not related to Mormonism. Political threads that have some relevance to Mormonism can remain in any of the perspective Celestial, Terrestrial, or Telestial forums, depending on the rating of the specific topic.

It sounds to me like you need to re-read the board rules.....and possibly take a brush-up course in reading comprehension so that you can understand them.

You've been too long in the monkey cage.

Here is the OP of the original thread, which is entitled, "I salute and honor all veterans":

Amen!

It was meant as a celebratory thread.

No, it was meant to salute and honor all veterans.

Your post was NOT celebratory.

But it was honorary and quite on topic.

Are you honestly saying that I am attempting to censor you in some way, simply because I disagreed with you?

So you admit to censorship?

If that is what you are saying, then you have miserably failed at explaining how.

You've yet to show how my post was not on topic. In fact, your skirting the facts is probably very good evidence that you are censoring me simply because you disagree. In fact, I'd say that you have a special eye on me just so you can swoop in and proclaim that I'm full of s*** at every opportunity.

Not to worry. That which exposes one's true nature is all good.

Hey Space Kadet... are you a veteran? If not, why not?
I went on an LDS Mission, came home and got in some college, enlisted RA and spent my time in the Army. If not for medical problems occasioned by very loud noises being way too close I would have stayed in for the full career. Such is life...

LDS talk a good game but when it comes time to back it up they scurry away like roaches when the light is turned on. Utah has one of the lowest rates for military service around. Missions are a cultural thing, an obilgation in the society that, unfilled, will haunt them for the rest of their life in Moromon circles. Military is totally elective and is supported in word but not in reality.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

It's obvious that you need a course in reading comprehension. I explained to you EXACTLY how your post was not on topic. The thread was a celebratory thread, and your post was not celebratory. YOU are the one disagreeing with, not only MY assessment, but the assessment of the majority of participants on that particular thread.

Frankly, BC, I have neither stated that I agreed nor disagreed with your actual statement. It might surprise you to learn that I actually agree with you. I always thought that Kerry was a snake in the grass. That has NOTHING to do with why I moved your comment. Your comment was moved because it was off topic....period. You initiated a topic of discussion that was heading in a completely different direction than simply celebrating veterans. How did my moving your comments to open a new thread so that the discussion could continue censor you in any way? My intent was to further your discussion, not stop it. If my intent had been to stop it, your post would have disappeared. We don't do that here.

Disclaimer--My statements below reflect my personal opinions. I am "speaking as a man", as it were. My thoughts above represent my thoughts as a Moderator.

Don't flatter yourself. I don't need to proclaim that you are full of crap. You do a nice job of that all on your own.

Indeed.
