Re: Dare I ask the question - Does anyone else hate Christmas?
You know, untill recently i was always a little iffy on christmas. The reason it became better was that i got engaged! I get along quite well with my in-laws and have very thoroughly been enjoying the whole experience. As an example, just last night i went over to my grandmother-in-laws to help her decorate her tree. Her husband had recently been admited into in-patient care due to his progressing alzheimer's, so she has been having a hard time. I went over with my fiance, her sister with her girlfriend, my mother-in-law, and her friend. It was just fun! We where snacking, compairing recipes, drinking wine, and cracking jokes i could never tell around my own family.
I honestly never remember having that much fun with my own family during the holidays. It was always couched so much into the church as to become tedious.
The crowd definately makes the party.

I think the Christmas season, like life is pretty much what you make of it.
