Just as "Hitler made the trains run on time" this is foolishness in stupid statements.

Yes, if you feed them they will breed. We have second and third generation welfare bums who know nothing else. Many won't work even when offered jobs. Not the 'right kind' of job is what many say. "I don't do that kind of work" while they sit at home or on the street corners contributing nothing to society but wasted talent undeveloped. Being a welfare cheat and pickpocket and pawn shop expert is not a talent.

Education is more than rote fact recitation as most of us know. Get education and a thirst for learning and some of these folks will work to better their situation. Some won't. That will not change.

The governor has to know the way he said things polarizes people. If he would push a jobs initiative that gives no welfare payments to those who don't give back in the form of work, however small, he would be much better off. Makes more sense to me than carping about the lazy bums.
