The Race Card is the Trump Card

Post by _Droopy »

Following the classic leftist strategy of divide and conquer (or perhaps rather pander and ingratiate), Obama and the Democrats race to the intellectual and moral bottom once more in preparation for an attempt to stem major congressional and senate losses in 2010 and electoral implosion in 2012.

Whipping up what appears to be an axis of black power grievance ideology, Hispanic ethnocentrism, racial emotionalism, feminist victimology, and what is apparently a return to the sixties idea of youth revolution, Obama, as a textbook example of western leftism in practice, sees the entire country as a conglomeration of grievance and special interest groups arrayed against a dominant "power structure" (white people, white males, capitalism, "wall street" etc.) out to get them.

Whether this ideology of class warfare and identity politics will have the power to achieve its goals of the creation of an environment of racial, ethnic, gender and age conflict within which its very architects (the same architects who gave us our present economic meltdown) can ride in on their white horses, yet again, as our saviors, is yet to be seen, but the answer to that question may perhaps spell the doom of the United States as a rule of law grounded republic, or its continuance for some unspecified time as a "shining city on a hill" that it has been for so many.

Once it is gone, there will be nowhere left to flee (except unto Zion, but that will mean an ultimate secession from the surrounding secular/pagan culture once it has become "ripe").
Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us

- President Ezra Taft Benson

I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white.

Amen. Did you notice that when the Democrats introduced their version of immigration reform, the Obama administration abandoned persuing it because it included provisions for the completion of closing the border? The left has so succesfully enshrined their own rhetoric that to be anti-illegal immigration is to be anti-immigration and racist that they can't accomplish anything worthwhile.

Have either of you read Stupid Black Men: How to Play the Race Card--and Lose ? Note, I am not endorsing the book. I have not read it and, not being a black man, don't experience what they experience. However, I noticed it in my online library and the title of this thread reminded me of it.

I have not read it but a man, whose skin color happened to be black, I was evicting from a rental unit for continual disturbance (late night parties) played the race card against me and lost.
