I still remember the ignorance of my slightly "liberal" youth.... I wrote a paper once for a class decrying "Advertising" how it was a waste a money, etc., how it's money that could go elsewhere, increase pay, lower product costs etc.

Oh how "naïve" and ignorant was I..... I've since realized that advertising in most cases is vital, provides jobs, etc. etc., that there is not generally an actual "waste" of money, that it goes back into the economy, is salary to someone, provides a job for someone, etc. I still kinda think that advertising in "certain" respects is a waste and unnecessary such as Coke or something. I mean, their product is everywhere, already thus advertised, loved, people like it, etc. So, in that case maybe there is some waste, but my views have otherwise completely changed.

Perfect example of how liberals think like children, while conservatives think deeper on issues, understanding the actual consequences of things, and seeing the interrelationship of things how one thing effects another. Liberals simply don't think this far on most issues, thus their judgments are flawed, are false.

Sounds to me like you just wrote a really ignorant paper.

P.S. - Your Jesus builds shopping malls, and he advertises his handiwork in the LDS Newsline section of his newspaper.
"I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. ... Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I." - Joseph Smith, 1844
