In the interest of full disclosure, there is some yucky parts in the next chapter. And, as you read, you'll find the religious arc of the story more distinct. So if religious people turn you off, then you may want to stop here.

After review from a couple of other sources, there is a better version of chapter 1 posted above. I think it's better anyway. But that's the process, cutting and snipping to produce something better. I'm quite sure there are several more versions yet to come.
