CA, Northern Orange County. Near Seal Beach. About two miles from the coast. Four miles from the nearest accessible beach. About five miles from the nearest dog beach.

I have two dogs. A yellow lab and a pointer. Both rescues. The dog beach is a blast with a couple of water dogs.

I do miss the Rockies, though.

Where are you?

I've been there. What a great place to live!

I'm in Idaho, up around Henry's Fork. Hemingway fly fishing country.

God's Country!

I've been to Rexburg, but not Henry's Fork. I'm an incurable flyfisher. I envy you!

Do you have a spare bedroom? (Just kidding).
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Yes, I do. Let me know when you're going to be in the area. (Not just kidding.)

Summer Time is now officially over.
Let us review a few things that happened this Past Summer of 2011.

For the month of July, Los Angeles, California had zero days of a high above 90 Degrees F.

For the month of July, Salt Lake City, Utah had one day of a high above 100 Degrees F.

During the Summer months, Salt Lake City, Utah averages about four days above 100 Degrees F.

Salt Lake City, Utah and Los Angeles, California were not hotter than normal this Past summer of 2011.

The Place within the U.S.A. that had a very hot summer was Dallas, Texas.
