I just watched this last night. What did you guys think of it?
I get the feeling it was bending a lot of truth and really didn't explain the full story.
One example would be with GM. I always heard that the unions made it impossible for GM to competite because of the high wages and benifits.
I also think those bankers should be put in for stealing the US tax payers money. The government should really rewrite some laws so they can go after those bankers.

Re: Capitalism a love story
The thing about the unions causing their demise is myth (How come Ford didn't go bankrupt?)
The movie was OK, but didn't have time to cover the problems with the banking industry. To date, I think the best move about that is "Inside Job", with Matt Damon as narrator.

Inside Job is very good!
Also, the new Frontline report is very illuminating. Just go to pbs.org and take a gander.

I detest my loose style and my libertine sentiments. I thank God, who has removed from my eyes the veil...

Yes, all the Frontline pieces are fascinating particularly the one called "The Warning."
