The real problem with all this is the same problem one encounters with any discussion of the Nazis, and that is a great deal of their authentic flavor, doctrines, and beliefs were long ago buried under a smothering blanket of mythology and revisionist history, virtually all dating from the Popular Front period and all of which was constructed and disseminated to serve the needs of the American progressive Left in distancing itself from its historic similarities to and association with ideas and policies very similar to and compatible with central features of National Socialist ideology, and from its support of Lenin and Stalin up until Hitler invaded the Soviet Union, at which time Nazism became "fascism" and fascism became "right wing."

That wall of mythology has been crumbling for a long time, and most especially since the Wall came down in Germany. The closer look having been taken at the homosexual subtext of Nazi culture is one the consequences of that crumbling wall.

The homosexual subtext of central elements within the Nazi inner circle and the SA is well documented, and the Nazis were not the first male oriented warrior society to have used homosexual experience between emotionally eviscerated males dedicated to war, power, domination, and cruelty as an agent of in-group bonding and loyalty. Homosexual bonding used to encourage feelings of allegiance, loyalty, and forge close emotional links between men was a major feature of ancient Spartan society. It was also not an unknown element of Samurai life.

no thanks. understandably, i'm not nearly as interested in Nazi culture as you are.

but regarding your laughable suggestion that Fascism only became seen as right wing after Hitler attacked the USSR in 1941, i am curious to discover whether you're lying or merely stupid on this point. for example, perhaps you could comment on the 1936 Battle of Cable Street (wikipedia article, newsreel on youtube).
