Leftwing Politico: Romney over Obama in swing states at 50%

Post by _bcspace »

And the sample is even D+2.

This week, Politico released its latest Battleground poll of the presidential race. Despite coming from the left-wing news site, the poll is one of my favorites. Its put together by respected pollsters from both parties, makes available its full cross-tabs and uses a very modest and reasonable turnout model for its sample. Including leaners, the sample in the poll is D+2. Nationally, Obama leads by 2-3 points, but, in the critical swing states, Romney now has the edge.

Each candidate leads in states considered "safe" for their party. In safe GOP states, Romney leads by 8. In safe Democrat states, Obama leads by a massive 22 points. But, in the more numerous and more important "toss up" states, Romney leads by 4, hitting the critical 50% threshold.

Doesn't really matter much how much Obama is up in states he'll win anyway like CA and NY. States like that are another reason why Obama is far from in the lead and why we should be thanking the founders for the constitutional check and balance of the electoral college which protects us all from being run over by a few large states.

Perhaps an out for liberals on the polls would be that the liberals in charge of them are just setting the stage for an epic Obama comeback......

Here we see conservative apologists staging a Tulip victory. If they can spread a "meme" fast enough, then they might overthrow reality. Quite Marxist and hypocritical to their base ideals, if you ask me.
