I have already mailed in my absentee Ballot for California. Here is how I voted on the Even Propositions there:

Proposition 30 - NO!!! Proposition 30 is a Tax Increase and a Scam. Most of the money raised from Proposition 30 will go to Public Union salaries and Pensions. See e.g. http://www.ocregister.com/opinion/educa ... ornia.html

Proposition 32 - YES!!! Proposition 32 is true campaign reform that California really needs. The Orange County Register, The San Diego Tribune, The San Bernardino Sun, The Press-Enterprise, The Los Angeles Daily News, and Democrat Gloria Romero have All Endorsed Proposition 32. See for e.g. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/oct ... anglehold/

Proposition 34 - Yes!
Proposition 34 will repeal California's death penalty to replace it with life in Prison without the possibility of parole. While I believe in the death penalty in theory, the death penalty in California costs over 120 million a year, and it doesn't work there anymore. See e.g. http://www.dailynews.com/opinions/ci_21 ... costly-and

Proposition 36 - Yes! Proposition 36 is a small change in the "Three Strikes Law" in California. I was originally going to vote no on this Proposition, however I changed my mind in voting yes on this.
The U.S. Supreme Court a while ago has ordered California to release thousands or prisoners, so I didn't really have that much of a choice, but to vote yes on this Proposition. See. e.g. http://www.presstelegram.com/opinions/c ... kes-better

Proposition 38 - NO!!!
Proposition 38 is a State Income Tax Increase to help support Public education. While most of the money from this will likely go to Public education, instead of Union salaries and pensions, this is still an unnecessary State income tax increase on People when the State income taxes in California are already very high. See e.g. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/sep ... o-must-go/

Proposition 40 - YES!!! Proposition 40 will keep the California State Senate redistricting plan approved by the California Citizens Redistricting Commission recently. See e.g. http://www.pe.com/opinion/editorials-he ... -on-40.ece

I was expecting Romney to lose, but I wasn't prepared for Prop 30 to pass. That really, really bums me out. I was hoping 32 would win, but I'm not surprised it didn't.

My business is pretty solidly anchored in the Los Angeles area, but I would actually leave the state if I could.

We Californians are totally screwed. But at least now they have to do it with a condom.

Ah, the nanny state babysits the porn industry. They don't have that kind of gov'mint interference in Salt Lake!

I wonder who gets to enforce the law?

The Greedy Public employees and the morons in California came out in full force to vote Yes on Proposition 30 and No on Proposition 32. California will very soon clearly have the highest State sales tax in the Nation. The Public unions are still in complete control over the California State Legislature.

Proposition roundup: Voters OK 30, Brown's tax-hike plan:

Things are much, much worse. It looks like the Democrats are near a supermajority in both houses of the Legislature.

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me ... 3598.story

Luckily, the Democrats are promising there won't be a "frenzy of tax hikes."

And the same Democrats who are talking tough about fiscal responsibility this week have for years been touting the programs they want to restore or start once the opportunity is there. In addition to raising revenue, they would also be empowered to bring constitutional changes and other measures to voters without any GOP signoff — and to override gubernatorial vetoes.

Given a supermajority, "We're going to use it," Senate President Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento) said Wednesday.

"It will be an awesome responsibility," Steinberg said. "But it's very exciting.''

This is really not good.
