I see how there are people who marry old rich men and it got me to wondering. How far would I go in order to get something I really wanted? (Heavenly vacation and affection and Paris!)

Yes. I assume by the nature of the fantasy question, that some of the issues beastie raises are moot. In other words, it is premised on a person one likes in the first place, etc.
But, I would stay on the exotic island, which would be Capri, and forgo the Paris leg of the trip.
(edited to add: As you know, Zeez, I've already pretty much come close to this in real life with the exception that the person was of the opposite sex and there was no cuddling. But it was the trip of trips and all paid for, too.)

Probably not. I really hate to be tied down to someone else when I travel. Maybe we could meet for lunch. Or lunch and dinner. Or several lunches and dinners. But travel together? No.
