It amazes me that the verdict of public opinion is coming down against the coach in this case. I didn't think I was that old. Things sure seem to have changed. I remember sitting amazed at the level of abuse my coach was legally permitted to dish out nearly 20 years ago. No parent ever protested or blinked an eye at it.
