The NRA's Plan

Post by _MeDotOrg »

The NRA, after taking a week to think about it, came up with the plan of putting an armed security officer in every school in the United States.

Yeah, that worked well at Columbine.

There are 132,656 K-12 schools in the United States.

Since the NRA is so hot on this idea, I wonder if they would finance it? Maybe get their members to pitch in...

Got to love the NRA, Blame the video games, players kill people not guns kill people or in this our children.
NRA's 'ludicrous' proposal to have armed guards at every school would cost $3.3 billion. Were is that money going to come from??? School budgets????
I don't want to take your guns just your allotment of bullets per year and No high capacity clips.

I worked with the army for many years no civilian should own a military weapon, They are for combat only, name the reason why a civilian not on active duty should own one. Even active duty members don't take them home to be around their family's.
The right to bare arms is only for "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
I don't think the writers in 1791 foresaw mass shootings and military weapons on the streets of our city's.
I live in a country were there is gun control my husbands family are avid hunters to feed their family's. They have allot of gun power locked up in their gun lockers as do allot of Canadian family's and yet gun violence is rare. It dose happen 598 people died in 2011.The Canadian murder weapon of choice is the blade not a gun. You can own a hand gun but there are rules, you purchase your hand gun after filling out the forms to pass and register your hand gun, it is then shipped to a gun club you must belong too. It must stay locked up never leaving the club.
Now with all this said you could for allot of money buy a illegal gun off the streets but that is rare and always traced back to the US shipping illegal guns across the boarder that can be traced back to crimes committed there. Why throw away a gun when they can be sold else were.
The NRA is full of them self's and no right minded person needs a military weapon.
