I already dealt with this at length across several posts in at least two separate threads. You just lost yet another argument (in the midst of substantial name calling towards myself and bc, which appears to have formed the bulk of most of your responses on that topic).

Fascism has always been a phenomenon of the right. Every postwar academic scholar of fascism -- Robert Paxton, Roger Griffin, Umberto Eco and onward -- has been emphatically clear about this. Benito Mussolini admitted as much. It's part of the very definition of the word.

KG has never read the 25 point program of the Nazi party.

No, he hasn't, and over the last ten years I've probably posted that document more times than the points in the platform, between this place, the FAIR board, and ZLMB, and in no case in which I've done that has there ever been anything from the resident leftists, regardless of the forum or church affiliation, other than...silence.

Jim Jones was a religious nut, not a terrorist.

He was also a committed Marxist and inveterate leftist ideologue:

So of the left-wing terrorists and terrorist groups you have cited, how many people have they injured or killed? Let's count:

Weather Underground: zero injuries, zero deaths

It wasn't for lack of trying, my friend, it wasn't for lack of trying. Then of course, there's the existing record of what the Weather Underground intended, after the revolution:

I brought up the subject of what will we do after we take over the government. We become responsible for adminstrating 250 million people…and there was no answers. No one had given thoughts to economics. How are you going to clothe and feed these people? The only thing that I could get was that they expected that the Cubans, North Vietnamese and the Chinese and the Russians would all want to occupy different portions of the United States. They also believed that thier immediate responsibility would be to protect against what they called the counter-revolution. They believed this counter-revolution could best be guarded against by creating establishing re-education centers in the south-west, where we would take all of the people that needed to be re-educated into the new way of thinking and teach them how things were going to be. I asked, well what is going to happen to those people that we can not re-educate that are die-hard capitalist? The reply was that they would have to be eliminated! When I pursued this further they estimated that they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these re-education centers. When I say eliminate, I mean kill….25 million people!

On the thread "The Problem with Black Folks", droopy said the following:

Blah, blah, blah and, if I may say so myself, blah.

The following is among the best explications of the relationship of early modern conservatism to the early civil rights movement I've found, and contains the nuance, required intellectual background, and intellectual honesty that Beastie et al refuse steadfastly to bring to the table of discussion.

The article that he admired, and said I would refuse to bring to the table of discussion, had, in fact, already been linked to and heavily cited by….beastie. Me. This is what I said about the article:

by the way, this linked article is excellent and as balanced as I've ever seen on the subject.

I then quoted half the article.

What does droopy hope to gain by refusing to admit his error?
Time to man up, Droopy.
