One, you're an idiot.

Second, my son wasn't suspended for "shocking" people. He was suspended for bringing a toy gun to school. The principle said nothing to us about shocks. In fact, his first attempt to prank someone was with his teacher, and she took it from him and they went to the office.

Why do you think you know what the hell you're talking about? Your brain is in constant excuse-making mode and like a good apologist, you don't really concern yourself with facts and evidence. Like bcspace and Droopy, you just think you can BS your way through arguments.

And do you really think you're going to tell me my home city isn't really dominant Right Wing, just because there are sometimes blue counties in Red States? So what, if this isn't one of them? Who gives a damn about how liberal Augusta is? Richmond is a dozen counties away from Cherokee county. The electoral map shows that 78% of the votes went for Romney. So what the hell are you babbling about? What I said is an established fact. My son was suspended by school officials who are most likely Right Wingers, not "Liberals." Your assertion that this has something to do with a Liberal agenda is just ignorance on your part. There are plenty Right Winging parents would would freak out if their child came home with news that one of their classmates brought a gun to school.

Faqs is this board's equivalent of the sheep in Orwell's Animal Farm, who chanted "four legs good, two legs bad," except he is constantly bleating "conservatives good, liberals bad."

No matter how much evidence to the contrary, he just keeps mindlessly repeating the simple mantra that defines his world, twisting reality beyond recognition to make it fit.

It must be an interesting experience to be blind to shades of gray, and only see in black and white.

Liberals, and more specifically anti-gun liberals, are partially at fault here. But you can't be happy with this rhetorical victory and need to push it further and in the process misunderstand both its history and the nature of support it currently hias.

The single most important piece of legislation driving zero tolerance policies towards guns or gun like things in public schools is this:

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/103/hr6

You'll notice that huge majorities of both Democrats and Republicans voted in favor of it.
Zero tolerance in schools is entirely an liberal phenomen

Fine, but read your description, you certain "implied" he was shocking people at school also.
Okay fine..... Schools have a zero tolerance policy for toy guns.
And?

Why do you think you know what the hell you're talking about? Your brain is in constant excuse-making mode and like a good apologist, you don't really concern yourself with facts and evidence. Like bcspace and Droopy, you just think you can b***s*** your way through arguments.

Only in your mind.

And do you really think you're going to tell me my home city isn't really dominant Right Wing, just because there are sometimes blue counties in Red States? So what, if this isn't one of them? So.....?

Anyway, all you've established here is that your school has a zero tolerance policy for even toy guns.

Your kid didn't bring a "gun" to school, and no conservative parents wouldn't freak out about a toy gun, you are a moron. Your particular case, I didn't say it was "liberals" did I??? But I will state that the policy is a liberal policy. A toy gun is not a real gun. But I do understand that maybe they think kids sometimes won't know the difference, which I've heard some cases of that. So, I'm not necessarily against banning toy guns either, but suspension is certainly too far for doing something innocent. However, my own kids case was certainly liberal based, and most certainly most other cases of this kind of overreach is liberal based, so shut your face fool.
