stupid democrats

Post by _subgenius »

Democrats have always relied on the laziness of their supporters...knowing that they will never actually think for themselves and they put forth the following:

1. A common claim made by the Democrats is that Republicans want to ban abortion even if it means putting a life in danger. This is not the case, the Republican platform on this issue usually just aims to end it as a means of routine or possibly irresponsible birth control. (admittedly this is a tough issue, because abortions and unfettered access to birth control encourages women to be sluts and who really wants to discourage such a thing? the continued degradation of a woman's self being by further objectifying her as a sex bus, making several stops a day is such a great platform)

2. They claim women make less than men, but most of these stats are based on the average yearly incomes without including factors like maternity leave or the gaps in employment that raising children may cause. Without averaging this on an honest scale, it's hard to say how bad this gap really is or if it still exists at all.

3. President Bush started the war in Iraq because he was interested in oil, getting richer and settling his own personal insecurities....but likewise not possible with Obama and Syria.

4. Global warming (nuff said)

5. California (nuff said)

California is a great example of the inept Democratic party and absurdity of organized liberals:
for example:
CA has
a. thanks to Prop 30, has the highest state income tax rate in the country
b. the 3rd highest unemployment (behind Nevada and R.I.)
c. tied with NY for highest gas tax rate
d. had 100,000 more people move out than moved in. (US Census)
e. been voted "worst state in America to do business" 8 years in a row (also worst state in new business creation 2011)
f. residents that pay 30% above national average for electric power
g. worsening criminal gang activity
h. had the San Bernardino city attorney tell citizens to "lock their doors and load their guns" because there is no longer enough money to pay for the necessary amount of police protection.
i. traffic has never gotten better
j. 60% of students in public schools qualify for free/reduced price lunch due to low-income household
k. seen children living in poverty increase by 30% since 2007
l. over 5,000 state troopers are paid more than $100k a year
m. highest paid teachers in nation yet 48th in math
n. highest paid teachers in nation yet 49th in reading

Democrat run-into-or-at-edge-of-bankruptcy cities

Compton, CA
Detroit, MI
Chicago, IL ($19 billion unfunded pension debt)
Cincinnati, OH ($862 million unfunded debt)
Minneapolis, MN ($700 million unfunded pension debt)
Las Vegas, NV
Omaha, NE
Portland, OR ($453 million in unfunded pension debt)
Fresno, CA (lease bonds at junk level status)
Harrisburg, PA (muni bonds - $345 million debt plus embarrassing waste-to-energy trash incinerator.)
Trenton, New Jersey (Unions...nuff said)
Oakland, CA
Providence, RI (worse funding-to-debt ratio than Chicago)

So, why do these hippies, queers, junkies, welfare-addicts, and generally lazy and self-indulgent people continue to blindly support a party that continues to degrade and diminish our valued communities? How long will the Democratic party continue to promote the "style over substance" campaign? and how long will these stupid democratic voters continue to cheer for it?

a. thanks to Prop 30, has the highest state income tax rate in the country

California now also has the highest State sales tax in the Nation.
From Wikipedia:

At 7.50%, California has the highest minimum state sales tax in the United States, which can total up to 10.00% with local sales tax included.[1]

From The LA Times:

California voters last fall approved Proposition 30, which increased state sales tax and some income taxes, with much of the money dedicated to education funding. However, more than 53% of respondents in the new poll said they saw no effect so far on public schools, while only 20% said the ballot measure helped, about 5% said it had hurt schools and 22% said they did not know.

b. the 3rd highest unemployment (behind Nevada and R.I.)

California's Unemployment rate is now the 7th highest in the Nation at 8.7%, which is behind Nevada, Illinois, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Michigan, and Georgia. 1

c. tied with NY for highest gas tax rate

California now has the highest gasoline tax rate in the Nation, which is even higher than the gasoline tax rate in New York State.
From The San Diego Union-Tribune:

In February, the California Board of Equalization voted to raise the excise tax on a gallon of regular gas from 36 cents per gallon to 39.5 cents per gallon, largely to make up for tax-revenue shortfalls in previous years. The new tax rate begins July 1. The taxes are figured into the posted price, so you won’t notice the extra charges on your receipt.

Come Monday, Californians on average will pay 72 cents in federal and state excise and sales taxes on a gallon of gas, the highest in the nation. Across the country, the average tax on a gallon of gas is 49 cents. New York is second with 68.9 cents, while Alaska is lowest at 26.4 cents, the American Petroleum Institute reports.

d. had 100,000 more people move out than moved in. (US Census)

As long as California voters keep voting yes on bad Propositions (such as Proposition 30), and as long as they keep voting no on good Propositions (such as Proposition 32), more People will continue to move out of California than move in there.

e. been voted "worst state in America to do business" 8 years in a row (also worst state in new business creation 2011)

From The Sacrament Bee:

Poll: California business leaders see state's climate as difficult

More than two-thirds of California business leaders see the state as an extraordinarily difficult state in which to operate, a new survey by the California Business Roundtable has found.

The poll adds heft to the often-voiced complaints about the state's business climate from Republicans and business groups -- complaints that Gov. Jerry Brown and Democratic legislative leaders say they want to address as the state struggles to emerge from a deep recession.

Brown and top legislators have pledged to reform the California Environmental Quality Act and examine other ways to make the state more attractive to investment, but environmental and consumer groups are leery.

The Business Roundtable polled 1,142 leaders of both large and small businesses and learned that more than 60 percent see the state's economy as worse than the nation's as a whole and 69 percent say it is harder to do business in California than in other states.

The survey also found that just 26 percent of business leaders believe that the results of the 2012 election, in which voters passed new taxes and expanded Democratic legislative majorities, will have a positive effect on the economy while 51 percent said it would have a negative effect.

Those Democrats are some day going to regret not having a well stocked arsenal, two years worth of food in the bomb shelter and a fully automated compound complete with a turreted anti-aircraft gun.

That is nothing. 98% of all San Pete County, Utah residents have a firm testimony that the world is going to hell in a hand basket.
