The point was that "food reactions" and dislike isn't necessarily about if something is actually "bad" (a.k.a. Cruel and Unusual Punishment) as liberals like to say, but more about "taste" and "familiarity".
So, your comment about me thinking people from other country's is just ignorant. If you had actually paid attention, instead of being a race on the brain ignorant bigot, you would have instead "guessed" that I was thinking what I just said.
Thus, minor "discomfort" in eating something cannot be considered "cruel and unusual punishment".
Now of course, some people are "allergic" to certain things or many. Me, there are many things I can't actually eat, that normal Americans always eat, things like Tomatoes, Squash, Onions, and a couple of other things. Tomatoes and Squash I will actually throw up, and I'm not talking "spit out" because of uncomfortable taste. Of course, if the food is "changed" in some way, then I can or could potentially eat it. Like Tomatoes, I love Tomato Sause (non-chunky), so I love Italian Food (of course I'm half Italian and whatever so I should).
So, NutriLoaf while being "uncomfortable" to eat for some, is clearly still "edible" since nobody is clearly starving, thus doesn't fit the definition of "cruel".
Further, this is actually why waterboarding isn't considered "torture" by people who actually understand it. It "seems" scary, but isn't at all.
I can for example just lay there and take a nap while it's done to me, because nothing is actually happening to you. It's all in the mind and "play acting".
In contrast, pulling out someone's nails IS in fact torture, etc. This is why Waterboarding and other things are called "Enhanced Interogation". They are just below what torture actually is. They are things that can be very uncomfortable to some, but they don't rise to torture. If Waterboarding was actually "torture" Navy Seals and other professionals wouldn't do it. I wouldn't have done it when I had someone do it to me.... LOL Of course, I can actually sleep in deep water my floating skills are so controlled and relaxed. So someone pooring water on my head/mouth with a rage over my face is just another day at the park to me. But people not prepared, it can seem scary.
Are you talking to me?
