I never said anything about citizen parents having to be born on U.S. soil. I said parents must be citizens, no matter where born. The original law also didn't care where born, as long as they were born to citizen parents which makes complete sense. Citizens would have American values.
Still wrong. Still unsupported by any legal decision.
Now, go and open your 50 browser tabs for some furious web searching. Return and report when you've found something that backs your claim, and that isn't merely the unhinged rantings of another nitwit.
The original justification for excluding non-native born from the Presidency ended when the first US born citizen became President. All before were considered English by birth. To be considered a US born citizen requires to you have either been born on US soil, territory, possession, embassy, military base, or US ship at sea, or at least one US citizen as a parent. Cruz is none of those. So it will up to the USSC to decide. With Scalia dead it should be very interesting.

Was Scalia the real leader of US?
FYI --- FOR ORTHOGAPHY Scalia... not Scala as in the title of another thread? For me, the Scala is of La Scala of Milano (no, it is not Milan, stupid...)
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco - To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
I don't know if they have a case or not, but I hope they do. Of the six candidates left, Cruz scares me the most. He's the type of candidate that might drive me to vote for Hillary.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Just an obsolete leftover from almost 200 years ago. It's time we dumped it, but not too sure of the unintended consequences.
