(CNN)On the campaign trail, President Donald Trump's typical McDonald's meal contained nearly a day's worth of calories and sodium, almost double the recommended daily dose of saturated fat and 2½ times the sugar he should eat in a day, according to US Dietary Guidelines.
Trump became well-known for his love of fast food during the 2016 election. He even tweeted a photo from his plane, ready to dive into a big bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, but there are new details about his go-to meal at his other fast food favorite, McDonald's.
Actually I think "Just keep eating, Donald." would make a great bumper sticker or T Shirt.
Do you remember the old Burma Shave road signs? Imagine the signs you could do for this:
Within this world of toil and sin
There is no point in staying thin
So have a second piece of cake
You're still a very handsome rake
If you forget to take your meds
All doctors know is in their heads
And for dessert, Mr. President
Remember what we say
A MonteChristo a day
keeps the liberals away!
Burma Shave!
I will look forward to hearing the results of his Bethesda physical next year. The only thing we've seen on Trump's health was the ridiculous letter he got from his doctor in New York.
After watching the end of the Jerusalem speech, where he started slurring, I don't think it was a T.I.A. He moved perfectly normally at the end. As far as I know, he's giving a speech tonight in Pensacola. I think it was dry mouth, but I think it was drug-induced dry mouth. He sounded like someone who had taken a little too much benadryl or an antihistamine, and gotten too dry. If that was his normal 'dry mouth', that's a serious problem when he can't enunciate.
While I was watching him, I kept thinking "why doesn't he have some water there?" until I remembered how much he made fun of Marco Rubio for his on-camera chug.
"The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization." - Will Durant "We've kept more promises than we've even made" - Donald Trump "Of what meaning is the world without mind? The question cannot exist." - Edwin Land
I saw the video where he slurred his speech. Regarding the water...I did see him, in the past, drink a bottle of water on camera while speaking. He could have done it this time, but for what reason he chose not to, I have no blessed idea. He simply plowed himself into it and buried himself in the process. Yet another testament to his poor judgement.
I have never seen Burma Shave signs, but I know what they are.
I'm interested in this upcoming physical he's having. To his credit, he doesn't drink alcohol, but all that other stuff he eats is going to override the statin he's taking. Statins aren't a case of eating whatever the heck you want, you pop a pill and they fix it all. They don't. You have to meet them half way via diet/exercise. I'd bet the house he believes they're a cure all. They can also push someone into Type 2 diabetes. He's obese, gets no real physical exercise, eats like a pig--he's pushing the limits big time.

The statin that he takes can cause that type of dry mouth.

I do feel a bit bad about posting this thread. It's not out of meanness, but more an act of desperation and I don't think I'm the only one who feels that way. I tried to be positive, I really tried. The problem is that he's sucked all the positive out of me. I wouldn't have minded change.
We can grow from change.
What he's produced for the past year isn't methodical, strategic or decisive change, it's total chaos. He's all over the place. The rest of the world no longer trusts us. He's on a collision course and he's taking us all with him.
It's been one damn thing after another and so many things even in the course of one day's time that we don't even have time to process (much less sort out truth from falsehood) before another wave of crap and chaos comes at us. He creates trouble where no trouble should be. He shoots off his mouth when he should let a thing pass without comment. He can't let anything pass and he can't let anything go.
I can't honestly name one positive thing that he's accomplished and if it exists, it's been lost in the rotating crap vortex we're treated to on a daily basis.
I'm simply tired of it all.

The trouble is that those so-called "nutrition experts" have not yet figured out the health-inducing qualities of burgers and chocolate milkshakes. However, in the fullness of time and waistlines, they may come to see the truth.
