If I have noise cancelling blue tooth headphones, that means it can pick up what's on my smart phone, right? Music stored...

Then I'd need a portable battery power pack to charge my phone on a long flight, right?

What kind of portable battery power pack do you guys use? One of my family members has one, but I would like to look at more options before I purchase.

I just now thought of another question! Can I download a movie on to my smart phone and if so, am I sacrificing anything with regards to using the smart phone?

Yes.

I go with Anker but make sure you get one with Qualcomm technology because it charges your device in half to a third of the time. I go with this one because it is small and easy to take around and it packs a punch. But you can buy bitter ones with multiple ports.

You could, so long as it is in the proper format. But movies will eat up a lot of space on your phone.

I read through the Amazon for that one. It takes 1 Lithium battery. I'm giving you the TSA about Lithium batteries in carry on bags. I don't know the difference between one that has 100 watts and one that doesn't. I don't know the battery type for the one on Amazon that you gave me.

I cannot express to you how important it is that I get this right. I have to leave out of Newark International Airport, specifically through the United Airlines Terminal. Anyone who has been through TSA at the United Terminal in Newark International Airport will know exactly my plight. They herd you through and yell at you like you're convicted murderers being delivered to prison. The noise in the United TSA at Newark International Airport is deafening and makes it worse.

In other words, I have to get this right so I don't get yelled at, treated like I'm a suspected POS serial killer and pulled out of line. It's frigging traumatic. They once pulled out my traveling buddy because they profiled her for wearing a Five Finger Death Punch t shirt and dusted her for bomb residue. I was getting shoved off in one direction while they had her in custody. Newark International Airport is the hostile shithole of Jersey and United TSA is the entrance to hell itself!

Me again: I don't even know what that says. Both say yes to carry on bags, but in the second you have to have airline approval which would do me no good whatsoever if United TSA yanks my crap out of my bag and won't let me have it back...which they DO to people. They almost absconded with my sand castle once so they'd have no problem whatsoever taking my lithium battery away from me.

You have a lot to deal with right now. Airport headphone decisions are monumental right now and extreamely stressful for most people with a busy and productive lifestyle. My hats off to you in finding a solution to this difficult journey.

And you thought developing a charter school on your adjacent acreage might be a difficult challenge? Man, as you’ve articulated and demonstrated a real challenge: “I know! Try finding some TSA approved headphones! Like you, spent so much time doing the same. Good luck ma’am.”

These types of difficult dilemmas can be all consuming in ones life!!!!

Okay then, maybe this is the key:

Lithium batteries with more than 100 watt hours may be allowed in carry-on bags with airline approval, but are limited to two spare batteries per passenger.

Maybe if you are just carrying the battery that's for the charger that's allowable and it also says you can carry two spares. I'm sure they have these coming through all the time particularly on long haul flights.

I just don't want to get assaulted by United Airlines TSA. They're damn mean in Newark International Airport.

Most Li-ion batteries are 3.7V, so if you use the formula White House=mAh/1000 x V, you should be ok as long as you are under about 27,000 mAh.
(100 White House/3.7V * 1000 = 27,027 mAh)
