For those who like Potholer's youtube videos, he has a new one on the coronavirus outbreak. His main point in the video is this is a science issue not a political issue, but to his dismay the comment section turned into a political debate.

To be as smart as subs, faqs, and Ajax, let me know if I'm on the right track for what I'm supposed to believe about the virus:

The Chinese engineered the virus in a lab in a plot against president Trump and the United States. However, they didn't engineer a deadly virus that kills lots of people, they engineered a virus that spreads quickly, yet is relatively harmless and easily countered by warm weather and hydroxylquinine. You see, their plot wasn't to infect the US with a disease, but gain political control. They new the liberals would go nuts and initiate lockdowns, which would cause people to lose their jobs and become fearful and depressed, leading to a surge of deaths that would be falsely blamed on the virus. The liberals leading the show would be puppets of the deep state, bringing to fruition a command economy that acts in the interests of China, yet inferior, such that China even gains a stronger hand in trade.

It's a good theory, almost airtight, were it not for one important hole: it's far more well thought out than your typical Trump supporter can achieve. This one implies the ability to hold enough ideas in their head at once to at least have a shot at cog dis.

Therefore I have to fall back on their typical argument, the short, incoherent, detached from reality series of retorts for whatever subject happens to be commanding their attention at the time.
