ldsfaqs - There's a good chance you're dead if you get coronavirus. Please behave accordingly. And you won't be able to sue anyone if they give it to you without your consent.

With that out of the way, here's a fun story:

https://gothamist.com/news/mount-vernon ... ere-framed

A city north of the Bronx had a narcotics unit that was framing innocents, beating up citizens, and collaborating with local criminals. Top to bottom corruption. A whistleblower who had been trying to get this out eventually recorded conversations in the police department to prove it. The DA was notified. The result? The DA kept prosecuting people anyway and the only person punished was the whistleblower.

Wanna bet if white Wall Street bankers were getting framed and railroaded?

E - What exactly is your point? That there is corruption?

Of course, there is corruption, especially when Democrats are involved.
Bet you anything every single one of those involved in that North Bronx corruption were Democrats.
I doubt many Republicans are living there...

It’s not ‘North Bronx’, it’s ‘north of the Bronx’. And I doubt the Mount Vernon PD narcotics division is a leftist hotbed. Cops in NY tend to be GOP, even though the area is blue, but that’s not the issue anyway.

And if you ‘doubt many Republicans are living there’ In Westchester County NY, you clearly don’t know anything about the area.

It’s the complete police corruption that’s the issue, not if they vote R or D, but you only know one song so that’s all you can sing.

Nationally, police departments skew something like 80% Republican and New York police infamously skew GOP, so I'm guessing that there's at least one Republican there. New York might be majority Democrat, but there's still lots of Republicans. There's more Republicans in New York than there are a whole bunch of "red" states combined. That was not my point, though. My point was that the people targeted by this behavior aren't equally likely to come from all walks of life.
