Trump said exactly nothing about wildfires in his statement. Trees do not spontaneously combust as cause wildfires as he indicated.

Uh...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_tree
So, your argument is that Trump, upon landing in California to specifically discuss the current wildfires; responding to a question about the wildfire circumstances the role of forest management; and with his quoted statement of "like a matchstick" - can and should only be concluded with "nothing about wildfires"?

I am supposing that the rest of the this thread is to also be without any context and we can proceed with a cherry-picking type of citation strategy?

That's a fact. I just don't think you understand what the pricetag on this environmentalism, single payer healthcare, defunding the police, etc. is actually is going to be.

Biden isn't for defunding the police and for single payer healthcare. In regards to healthcare, Biden is for adding the public option. Link

Ajax has bought into the conspiracy theory that the candidate that the Democratic party nominated is a puppet of the guy they didn't nominate. It's the equivalent of arguing that Trump is secretly beholden to Romney and will do his bidding. it's all they've got -- wave around Castro like a scary bogeyman, all the while cuddling up to Putin. Republicans have no plan. All they have is "whatever this profoundly ignorant guy with the attention span and emotional maturity of a five-year old says is good enough for us."

Ajax has no clue what "this environmentalism" will cost. He has no idea what "single payer" would cost. But he knows it must be huuuuuge because Fox and Breitbart tell him so.

Each barrel of crude, and ton of coal, that the US takes from the ground and either uses up or exports, is a small chip against our overall long-term national security.

Non-renewables will always have a place as an unmatched stockpile of energy when renewables are unable to produce sufficiently, or in applications where renewables are unfeasible (like a fighter jet, for example).

It’s not just about the planet, it’s about our own security and independence. A vote against green energy is a vote for Hassan Rouhani.
