So I was told to contact end of July about doing the masters and received the same response. Only undergrad engineering degrees are being considered. Perhaps they have too much response. I don't really see the appeal to do a research masters in Physics. Not very good at writing so thesis work would be very difficult.
i.e you were told that the course was no longer available. Have you tried looking at the Open University?

There are three Engineering linked Masters here:

This might suit you:

MA/MSc Open
This innovative masters degree allows you to create a personalised course of study across a range of academic disciplines.
They told me before they results were in that they didn't consider my degree but to contact end of July. Admissions however said they would consider my degree so that was confusing but I don't want to apply when I've been told by the admissions lecturer in the dept that they don't consider physics. The reason I wanted to apply to that specific course was because I'd get a 25% discount on the fees. If I went to a different Uni I'd have to pay full fees and student finance doesn't cover the full amount. I'll have a look though. I know with OU you can do it slower and pay it up so it's worth a gander.

Yup - that is just what I was thinking, so I thought I should mention it as a possibility.

Spent a couple of hours looking at the modules and picking what I'd be most interested in. I'll share later but it's not anything like the course at uni so I'm not massively enthused. One module looked cool but wasn't relevant to the rest. Was more Physics like in nature.

Started a free course that's a preparation course for masters study with OU. Then my kids got crazy.
