And since the right has very selective memory, just last year over 1 million acres of Texas burned. Don’t recall Musk or Trump making a peep about them, and Google isn’t really showing they had anything to say.

Republicans BLOCK California Wildfire Aid Money in SHOCKING Vote
The allegations and misinformation used to justify the withholding of funds have been thoroughly debunked, but Trump doesn't care. He will double down on those lies as hard as he can to hurt any who refuse to support the MAGA, Fascist agenda and kiss his nether regions.
Republicans are truly unconscionable. They and conservative media are doubling down on the lies that the fires in California are due to California's mismanagement of forest lands and cutting funds to mitigate fire danger. Nothing could be farther from the truth. As pointed out in the video, the budget for wildlands management and fire fighting has increased tenfold since the beginning of Newsom's Governorship, and no state in the union has done more to mitigate fire danger by clearing away excess fuel and preplacement of firefighting assets than California has, and California's firefighters are rated the best in the world. California also has the world's largest fleet of firefighting aircraft. Republicans' withholding of funds to help the current crisis is motivated by nothing more than pure political spite and vendetta. There is nothing California could have done about preventing the current drought and the dry, hurricane-like, Santa Ana winds that are hampering firefighting efforts and have often made it impossible to effectively use the aircraft in their arsenal.Really American host Tony Hinderman breaks down Republicans' latest display of heartlessness in a SHOCKING Move that could make the California Wildfire Situation So Much Worse.

How about the same way in which disinformation about the pandemic could led to more people being killed by the virus?
You know, like spreading lies about how the virus was already prevented from entering the country. Or lies about how the virus is just like the flu and not a big deal. Or lies about how the death tolls were over exaggerated because hospitals around the world all conspired to include car accidents and heart attacks as deaths related to the virus. Or lies about how the cure is already readily available at your local veterinary store in the form of a common deworming medication for livestock. Or lies about how masks and other mitigation measures don't do anything so just go ahead and show up at the Trump rally. Nothing to worry about there, just ask Herman Cain. Oh... wait.

Powerful points! It's not much of a stretch, in my opinion, to regard Trump and his supporters who deliberately broadcast this disinformation, knowing it is false, as murderers and accessories to murder. If Trump continues this kind of refusal or disinclination to help relieve the suffering of populations merely because they didn't vote for him, he deserves to be impeached again. I wish there were enough Republicans with both the moral fiber and backbone to see the necessity of impeaching, convicting and removing once and for all this moral reprobate and convicted felon from office! In Nixon's day, even many, if not most, Republicans saw the necessity of removing him from office. Trump is even more corrupt and evil and dangerous than Richard Nixon ever was, in my opinion! And not just because of what he is saying or proposing to do about the current crisis in Southern California! How can anyone with more than a dozen fully functional brain cells not see that?Vēritās wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 8:21 pmWow.Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 8:16 am

The Orange Jesus of the Republicans might be employing Skywizards to blow hurricane-force winds on the California wildfires. It's far worse than Jewish space lasers!!!

Tommy Tuberville Says California Fire Victims 'Don't Deserve' Any Aid because they voted for Democrats
Worse yet, there were MAGA groups in those red states deliberately trying to sabotage, in some cases, FEMA assistance to hurricane devastated areas in order to prevent Democrats from getting any legitimate credit or praise for helping out! Apparently some MAGA fanatics would rather hurt their own people than acknowledge or accept help from Democrats, no matter how well intended or effective.
This is pure evil and hatred! No Democrats have ever refused government aid to states and communities because they voted Republican! In fact, during the devastation recently due to hurricanes, the Biden Administration received only praise and gratitude from Red State governors and leaders for the generous help provided them during their own natural disasters. Moreover, Red states, in general, have long received most of their disaster assistance due to the generosity and funds collected from Blue, Democrat led states!Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville has become the latest Republican in either the House or Senate to publicly state that the victims of the California wildfires, including the state itself, do not deserve ANY assistance from the federal government because of the state's liberal policies. This is beyond insane, and if the roles were reversed every major outlet in the country would be blasting the Democrats for refusing to help a Red State. But this is the country that we live in now, as Farron Cousins explains.

See also: Republicans look to play political games with the suffering of California fire victims
Congressional Republicans have picked up on Donald Trump's animosity toward the state of California and are now suggesting that any federal aid to help in the recovery from historic, deadly, devastating fires should come with conditions as well as political strings attached. Several Republicans taking this position, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, represent states that contribute a net negative to U.S. coffers and are likely to face even more need for federal dollars as disasters strike their states with relatively greater frequency. Dan Pfeiffer, former senior advisor to President Obama, discusses the political games Republicans are playing with victims of a terrible tragedy.
