I said several years ago that the GOP stopped trying to hide their corruption because they're so confident in their ability to BS their base.

What better proof can one have that Trump, and his administration is completely amoral and corrupt. They don't even try to hide that fact. It's both disgusting and frightening. It's like Sean Spicer, Trump's first Whitehouse press secretary famously contended that there is nothing inherently wrong or immoral with corruption, per se, as long as they don't try to hide that they are doing it. Trump, as I remember, has openly opposed, for example, the very concept of laws prohibiting bribery and, perhaps, even extortion. That's probably why he saw nothing wrong with his "perfect call" to Ukraine's President Zelenskyy attempting to extort him into finding or manufacturing dirt on Biden or his son that he could use to discredit Biden for unfair political advantage.

The funny thing about this is that's it's so common and ubiquitous that when someone from the right makes a criticism of the left, my reflex is to assume they're projecting. It's like they're drawing people's attention to their own crap.
