I could see them last night through the trees out back! The moon (the inconstant moon that monthly changes in her circled orb) was on the front side of the house...poking out halfway behind the clouds looking like it declared waning gibbous spooky season.

I'm annoyed there's no moon base with regular commercial flights to go crater sight-seeing. Talk about a missed opportunity for some purported genius entrepreneur (looking at Musk, the second coming of Steve Jobs-like pretend geniuses).

Last week I was outside looking up and saw the brightest meteor streak across the sky I've ever seen in my whole entire life to date. It was so close and therefore, so HUGE and it made a whooshing sound as it went over the trees. I think it would have hit fairly close by since it was on that downward trajectory. So cool!

Anyway, I took that as a heads up for the Perseid Meteor Shower and yup, it's already started. I always remember this one peaks around mid-August because it's our wedding anni. This year's peak is the 12/13 of August.

And not only that, we're getting a Solar Eclipse on the 12th.

All that to say, expect some good activity as we go into August!
