I imagine he uses 'real men' to mean 'guys like him.'

So, a 'real man' is a whiney, insecure moron. Like anything he posts, it's best to just ignore it.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

I would like to thank Chap for starting this thread and asking what a "real" man is. I'm going to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and explain to all the men on here who have been infected with the virus of progressivism what a real man is.[Del FR2 -cp-] This is very important if you value a healthy relationship with your wife. More to come later😉

I see a lot of posts by AtlanticMike in a number of threads containing the terms "Real Man' and 'Real American'.

So far as I can see, the adjective 'real' in phrases like 'real X' as used in such posts means no more than 'an X that AtlanticMike approves of'. In that case, why not simply say that? As it is, the perfectly useful word 'real' is being wasted by being used as the rhetorical equivalent of a chest wig.

Can anyone see any more in it than that?
We don't seem to be getting any response to the request for an explanation of the meaning of the first quoted usage of 'Real X' above, at least not one that takes us beyond 'A real X is an X that AtlanticMike approves of, or imagines himself to be.'

How about the second usage? I would have thought there must be something in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution and amendments thereunto that might help us achieve some clarity superior to that provided by posts that consist of simply saying "Hey! Watch this video and then you'll see what a real X is'".

Or maybe that is all that will ever be on offer by way of answer.
