Honey, I am not your personal "yes woman". You cannot tailor my responses to your expectations.
I gave you my opinion (and did answer your question)...but did not feed into your preconcieved notion. I am sorry.

I just don't take much personally. If someone thinks I'm a fool, I really don't care. I even think that I'm often foolish.

Hey AB,
I guess I'm just dead serious when it comes to personal beliefs. People came here because they wanted the freedom to question they didn't get at FAIR...they got it here. Now some of those same people are not willing to grant the same respect to people who come here, just because they're active Mormon.
I don't get that. I don't agree with that. The church gave me hell, made me doubt myself, made me hate my race...but it's a church...
I can't take every LDS I see and hammer them for being so. And I have some annoying-ass TBM friends. I just let them do their thang, and they let me do my thang, we sometimes meet in agreeing to disagree, but it's the love that was there when we met (and when they didn't abandon me when I left) that holds us together.
I just have a bad taste in my mouth from some of the things I've seen on here. I'm not an angel, but I'm not going to cuss you out based on anything other than your annoying me. Equal opportunity. Family, friends, strangers, religious, atheist, white, black, co-worker, McDonalds cashier...whatever.

Oh, I'm channeling my inner succubus...and don't really care at the moment. I know I've pissed people off...but most of those people really don't know me, and would not give me the same benefit of the doubt that I (am still...r u surprised) giving them.
To me, being a good person is separate from being an ass on this board. I'm sure some of the craziest mofos on here are probably devoted parents, maybe even happy folk. But you need to think about WHY you're attacking someone based on a religious belief.
Seriously, if I took up the philosophy of going after strangers based on what a demographic did to me as a kid, I'd be committing black on black crime.

Didn't ask you to be. Where'd you get that? (by the way - nice use of "Honey" to set yourself above me, although you deny that you do that.)

Didn't want to tailor your response. Just asked a question that you refuse to answer. Maybe the answer would be too troublesome to you?
Sam Harris wrote:I gave you my opinion
Yup, you did.

No you didn't.

I don't know what this means.

No you're not.
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe / But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Personal beliefs are also important to me. I just generally don't share what that which I could not bear to have attacked. That is likely the result of my being an introvert.
