Santorum is insane. He may be the only person in the Republican party that makes Sarah Palin look smart. I hope he wins the nomination.

I think as all liberals and anti-mormons do toward conservatives and Mormonism you only think he's "insane" because you misrepresent and lie about his statements, views, and actions. It is your own "fantasy" of people and things that makes "insanity", not who we actually are.
But, I will admit, I haven't followed him, so need to learn more. But, from what I saw in the debate, he's sharp as a tack. You in my view are "insane" in comparison.
Santorum made a big gaff the other day when he said that John McCain (he who was tortured as a POW) didn't know about torture the other day. Santorum won't get the nom for a number of reasons, but Romney has a decent chance if only because he has the "presidential" look as well as his percieved business acumen.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

Jon Stewart and Bill Maher are going to have a field day if Romney gets the nomination. There is something very wooden about Romney. Faux news is going to pull all stops and rehash all the wright etc stuff. Questions for Romney
1. Do you believe the constitution is going to hang by a thread and the leaders of the LDS church will be asked to save the Gov. Maybe "historian" Barton will be able to advise you. 2. Do you believe the Garden of Eden being in America makes America an "exceptional" country? 3. Do you have your own seer stone? 4. How will you handle the abortion issue? Will you allow no abortions at all? (The catholic position I think). Or will you allow abortion in the case of a Mother's possible death, rape or incest? 5. If you make further tax cuts, what spending will you cut? foodstamps? What do the rich do with their tax cuts?
Hilary Clinton " I won the places that represent two-thirds of America's GDP.I won in places are optimistic diverse, dynamic, moving forward"
The far-right Republicans view this as their chance to to get a true extreme conservative into the White House. To that end, they will not choose Romney unless he puts on the goat leggings and signs his X with some chicken blood. They will probably go with Palin as the most reliably controllable choice.
What pray tell is so "extreme" about any conservative, let alone a far right one?
Do we want to take away your rights? Do we want to tax you to death? Is it bad to actually live by a balanced budget? Is it bad to create a better and sustainable health care system, rather than a socialist one which is basically bankrupting and making low every other country out there, not to mention the extremely low quality of service? Is it bad that we want business to be taxed less so businesses can pay their employees more, high more employees, more get rich etc., such as implimenting a national sales tax, fair, flat tax or similar? Is it bad that Conservatives actually want us to follow the Constitution, the values that made this country great, and get back to simplisity in law, and the following of law, rather than relativism and feel good enslaving politics?
I mean, I could go on and on.... What is so "extreme" about the Right? Maybe you should consider that it's your own ignorance and lack of understanding and misrepresentation of the right, like you misrepresent Mormonism as being the ACTUAL problem.
What pray tell is so "extreme" about any conservative, let alone a far right one?
Nothing of course. It's just lib talk to tear down what they themselves can't build (like wealth so they can steal it). To be conservative is to be mainstream. To be mainstream and vote for a Democrat is to be ignorant and blinded by social and moral fads.
I don't think that it doesn't really matter who the GOP Nomination for President is going to be in 2012, because I believe that President Barack Obama will win re-election. (I didn't vote for Barack Obama in 2008, and I Probably won't vote for Barack Obama in 2012. The main reason why I believe that President Barack Obama will win re-election next year is because the Unemployment rate is starting to drop in a lot of the States. Here is the Following recent information:
Regional and State Employment and Unemployment (Monthly) May 20, 2011
In April 39 states reported over-the-month unemployment rate decreases, 3 states and the District of Columbia had increases, and 8 had no change. Nonfarm payroll employment increased in 42 states and the district, and decreased in 8 states. More »
By the time that the Presidential election comes around next Year, I strongly believe that every State (Except For California) will have an Unemployment rate below 10%. The State of California will vote to re-elect President Barack Obama no matter what the Unemployment rate is within that State.

I am not suggesting this is right, fair, or any other word you would like to plop in there BUT.................Romney, simply and only based on the fact that he is a Mormon, has exactly zero chance of becoming the US President.

Will never happen. Ever.
Just my opinion.
