Wow that's the dumbest thing I've read in a long time thanks for a good laugh. I think I should know a thing or two about this one. ;) first off odds are good that who ever gave that quote wasn't gay he was just a bigot claiming to be gay so he could get the interview. I've heard gay men tease about being "queer" but none of the people I know refer to themselves as "queer" it's one of those terms they don't use unless there trying to insult the person there talking to.

So BC, you seem to think that homosexuality is a choice. Did you choose heterosexuality?
I was born with male equipment that, according to Evolution theory, was made to interface with female equipment. Homosexuality therefore, at best, can only be an abberation or a just choice as it would have long ago been bred out of the gene pool as fast as it appeared.

It's apparent that the mother's womb specifically selects some offspring to be homosexual. Obviously this is a result of God's purposeful planning. Perhaps God gave us homosexuals so that our art, literature, music and fashion might be enriched. Also, to make the prudes uncomfortable. God works in mysterious ways. :D

BCSpace, it sounds like they're trying to create an environment where children learn to accept homosexuality as "normal" and are accepting of homosexuals and homosexual behavior.
"Recruiting" seems to accuse them of trying to somehow convince people who would normally be heterosexual to adopt a homosexual lifestyle, which doesn't seem to be the case (and I'm not even sure if homosexuals believe this would be possible).
Even if their goal is just "acceptance" as a normal lifestyle, I don't necessarily agree with it, but I wouldn't call it "recruiting".
