So Ajax reasons that black people probably have ID's required by new voter ID laws because you need those ID's to get food stamps? And he's baffled why people would call him racist, speculating that maybe it's because he doesn't want illegal immigrants (or women apparently) to vote?
As it happens, a very sizeable portion of blacks don't have the ID's in question and it is a hassle for a subset of them to get them, even when they are free. Driving 10 miles to the DMV to keep with their bizarre hours ain't easy for someone lacking a car and leading a busy life. The net effect is there is a barrier in place that will discourage them from voting relative to the general population. It's essentially a poll tax. That's the intended effect of those laws - to drive down Democratic voter turnout.
The ID requirement is part of a broader, more systematic approach to shave a few points off of Democrat heavy demographics from being registered voters.

How do you get a job without a picture ID?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I don't know where you work, but I've never had to submit a picture ID to get a job. Just a transcript, a social security (or social insurance) number, and sometimes a curriculum vitae.
But even if an ID were required, one shouldn't have to work a job to get to vote. Or do you opine that stay-at-home moms shouldn't get to go to the polls?
