So obviously, Krugman was using the word "bubble" rhetorically

Don't expect Droopy to understand this. He is too busy letting the blogs dictate his opinion for him.

But I get a kick out of the way you and EA always divert away from the main point of a thread when you can't refute said point. In this case, EA has to fall back on some unrelated comment Krugman made about the internet back in the 90's, which really has nothing to do with his expertise on the subject at hand: economics.

And he said I am the one who has trouble following a point. LOL!

Kevin,

What is the point of this thread?

If you tell me, I'll refute it.

(The point seemd to be, Lew says Krug championed a "bubble", which makes zero sense.)
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

I think the point is very clear as the title says it all. Droopy wants to claim Krugman "called for" a housing bubble as some kind of Keynesian fix. I've tried to contextualize his remarks for him, but as usual, Droopy will have none of it. He has embraced this pet talking point of the week and he refuses to let go of it. You seem to at least agree with me, and Krugman's close associates, who reject this idiotic claim.
