This is your evidence for "quite often"? One rogue doctor who performed illegal late-term abortions, and who is currently being prosecuted for it? The guy who was denied membership in the National Abortion Federation and condemned by Planned Parenthood? Right.
You are so ill-prepared for this discussion...the liberal media has their hand so far up your puppet skirt that you can not hear. The Gosnell was just one example...which is enough to disprove your uneducated stance on this issue...but let us continue to illuminate your inadequacies of knowledge.
Canada’s official statistics agency has confirmed that 491 babies died after they were born alive during abortions between 2000 and 2009. http://www5.statcan.gc.ca/cansim/a26?la ... able&csid= (The 491 deaths reported to StatsCan are listed in CANSIM table 102-0536, under code P96.4, which is titled “Termination of pregnancy, affecting fetus and newborn.”)

There is no medical procedure known as "partial birth abortion." That's a political term (pushed by nut jobs like Rick Man-On-Dog Santorum) created to misrepresent an extremely rare medical procedure called "dilation and extraction."
But hey what do Doctors say about it "Surgeon General C. Everett Koop and other eminent medical authorities told Congress: "Partial-birth abortion is never medically necessary to protect the mother's health or her future fertility. On the contrary, this procedure can pose a significant threat to both."

Her name is Alisa Snow, and she is nowhere to be found in the administration of Planned Parenthood. She is in no position to officially "endorse" anything for the organization, either nationally or in Florida.
The topic title is an outright lie. I'm sure we all find that shocking.

You can't just say that because condoms are for sale at the corner store. Condoms are unreliable because guys hate to use them, leading to a high rate of failure due to nonuse.

you seem to be a little confused about what a lobbyist does...i say confused because it is terrifying to consider you this obtuse. So, you are claiming that Planned parenthood spends all this money on lobbyists, but these same lobbyisits in no way represent (endorse) their views on any particular topic - especially a topic specific to the paid lobbying effort.....got it! silly me to think that a lobbyist is a paid professional advocate...as in one who supports and promotes the interests of others would actually be doing such a thing as advocating, supporting, or promoting Planned Parenthood's interests. http://www.opensecrets.org/lobby/firmsu ... &year=2012
Thanks for clearing up that whole lobbyist situation - its a shame that more people are not like you...with a clear understanding that lobbyists do not actually represent their clients.

"guys hate to use them"? so, now you contradict any quasi-reasoning you have already put forth..."widespread availability" to birth control is NOT effective. you are like a parrot....with a really dumb spoon fed liberal owner.

yes, and who hired her to specifically give that opinion?

So you should be able to provide many more. The Gosnell case is actually evidence that someone who does this is prosecuted as a criminal.

Canada? Um, you know those words (and that number) do not appear anywhere on the page you linked.
yes...so rare that the President signed legislation specific to it...
This is so comical. George W. Bush signing a bill to ban a practice (a bill that had been vetoed twice before and was eventually ruled unconstitutional) is proof that the practice is widespread. Gotcha.
]But hey what do Doctors say about it "Surgeon General C. Everett Koop..."
Wow. I'm so impressed that a doctor who had always opposed abortion would say such a thing.

Do you really need to put personal insults in every reply, like a nine-year-old?

I said "widespread use," not "widespread availability." Something that is widely available, but frequently not used because of its undesirability to the party who must apply it, is a problem.

If pregnancy were the only concern, you might have a point. But with the prevelance of STD's, which other birth control were you endorsing for widespread use that would also protect people from spreading diseases?
