At least once a week, if not more, I open the news in the morning and when I see photos of him in D.C., I think almost immediately and in total disbelief: WhatthehellisTrumpdoingintheWhiteHouse? It's like having a brain zap or what I imagine a brain zap feels like, and I remind myself that he was elected to office. I don't think I've ever referred to him as President Trump when speaking about him in real life.
I'll give him this. He is doing what he said he would do.

So the President of the United States is meeting with a man-child dictator who reportedly fed a newborn baby to guard dogs and he has authorized gulags that are worse than the Nazi camps according to Auschwitz survivor Thomas Buergenthal. And the media wants America to start singing kumbaya as if this is something to be proud of?
My tinfoil hat theory is the CIA was behind the test that literally destroyed their complex. I'm certain, in a Mulder X-Files way, that our Director met with Kim and told him that he can just drop the program all together and we'll leave him alone. If he doesn't he'll suffer catastrophic failures at every turn. I have a feeling Trump is just saying the same thing. Drop the nuclear thing and we'll go away. I'm also certain Trump was probably pretty honest about the US and the world in general doesn't give a crap about NK, Kim's regime, and if he just drops the nuclear program we'll leave him alone. Kim gets a pr coup with us stopping war games, and we get them to give up nuclear weapons. Win and win.
I know most people don't really care about dictators and their regimes. They're all over the place. As long as they don't present a literal threat to us or our allies we usually let them be (let us not talk about Iraq, k thanks).

LOL. Trump up at the podium again bragging about himself and spinning this into something it never was. He spends more time bashing previous Presidents than he does explaining what exactly was accomplished. He says Kim didn't have enough confidence in past Presidents. Yeah, I'm sure he said that. The problem with trying to figure out what happened in this meeting is that we're only getting the side from someone who has lied more than any public figure in history. Trump cannot tell the truth to save his life. The only good bet here is to assume the truth is something along the lines of being opposite of what Trump says went down.
