Assuming that image is legit what does it actually prove? That she hired her boyfriend as a marketing consultant for two months, a year before she got elected?

In this case, absent any illegal actions, it "proves" that apart from her being economically illiterate, that she is a hypocrite. And that so many layers of payment occurred between her and him gives an appearance of unethical behavior....but I get it, you have an integrity as displayed by your spittle-ridden condemnations of Trump with dramatically less evidence.....because "hair-fire 2016".

Again, the hypocrisy here is astounding. Doc and Ceeboo have no self awareness that they're doing precisely the same thing they're complaining about with the "media."

A video clip that lasts seconds, and begins in the middle of a brawl, and we're supposed to just assume we know the full context? Rushing to judgment are we?

Doc then posts this story: "A Man Was Charged With Pulling A Gun On A Kentucky Couple For Wearing MAGA Hats"

But when you read the story it says a man gave another MAGA hat wearing man the finger (oh the horror!!) at which point the MAGA guy chased after him. Only at that point did the guy turn to pull a gun to defend himself, according to the MAGA guy. There is video footage of the encounter but no footage of a gun being pulled. Meaning no corroboration! But hey, who needs context when it is fun trying to equate everything on both sides.

I still can't believe truth hawks like Doc are so naïve as to think this incident above isn't the least bit suspicious, that days after the Smollett story we see the first video footage of an unidentified person, presumably a Liberal we are told, physically assaulting someone we must assume to be an innocent bystander whom, we are told, simply expressed his Right Wing political beliefs in some benign manner.

Nothing suspicious there at all. But let's run with it and tar all media for not treating it like top newsworthy material.

KG, I see you're missing the point entirely. Feel free to parse out one example or another to your heart's content, but the point remains. There is an inordinate amount of Liberal bias in the media, and as a result the AM radio jocks and blogs have filled a vacuum. Perhaps people have naturally balanced the media out in their own way, which now that I'm typing this out I think is probably the case.

I can also see in you, Analytics, and Canpakes the same kind of reaction I see in Ceeboo, Bach, and Subgenius when the reporting goes the other way. In other words, if something chaffes your political sensibilities, then you'll start going into spin mode or arguing away the point by focusing on a diversionary tactic, whataboutism, or ad hominem.

This should actually give you pause, but I realize who I'm talking to and that's a virtual impossibility because you're locked into your mindset.

While we can see an increase in hate crimes it also appears that there is an increase in hoaxes of hate crimes. What does that tell you? That the conflict is being escalated. Too many people are losing their ____ because they are allowing themselves to react to tribal symbols. Data, people, data.

I think that you’ve misread my own point in posting what I did, which was to essentially demonstrate the same point you’re making, just displayed by other media players.

As for the incident itself ... Personally, I think that punching someone in the face is generally a dick move, unless there are some self-defense factors involved. Regardless of the video missing a whole lot of other context, I didn’t see anything within it that warranted that response.

I apologize if I misread you earlier. Regarding this snippet above, you have to admit it kind of underscores how reporting goes these days. The MAGA kid video created an uproar that lasted weeks, and we were missing a lot of context. This video? Not so much uproar, but i have a feeling if the context were reversed, MAGA person assaulting, say, Black student this crap would be causing WWIII for a few days. AND, if it came out the Black student was actually the instigator then all the commentary would just quietly die down with hardly a mea culpa to be had.
