A exaltation to Godhood post that contains the hierarchical structure of MDB.

Wow. That's kinda of like seeing the plans for the housing development in the Garden of Eden. Sort of the MDB equivalent of an early point in the Big Bang.

I think it’s cool being an atheist god. But I think I’d make a better demiurge.

In reality, I feel similarly. So, let loose. What change would you want to see?

I was going to say, "me gone". But that's merely an expression of apathy. I don't have suggestions to change or save anything.

That structure was in place two versions ago. You're on the third version here. I just happened to find a post where there was an example of the godhood announcement and a copy of the structure where it was stated for you.

Not all of it, 'cause nobody was currently occupying seven of the spots.

The ones that don't appear in that list (from highest to lowest) are:

God
Savior (resurrected)
Savior (mortal ministry)
Holy Ghost
Prophet
First Presidency
Apostle
First Quorum of Seventy
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

You forgot something. When you reach 30K+ posts you should get your own planet.

I suppose we have to create our own.

I don't. It's up to Shades to justify it, not me. As I've said all along, I'm just some schmo.

I asked if I could have my post count frozen at 999 back when, and it seemed to have been done. But it probably made work rather than being a setting so I was launched into godhood by a dozen posts or so suddenly reappearing in my count. I guess the cosmology of MDB is you can't hide from your destiny.

I ended up taking a voluntary break around then, too. In a way, it felt felt like a dubious honor to have racked up enough posts to be a god.

That said, the thread Jersey Girl shared leads me to wonder if our standard for godhood is too low? What if it was based on a premature view of 1000 posts being difficult to achieve resulting in MDB becoming lousy with gods? If it were raised to 10,000 how many gods would there be? A dozen? I wouldn't qualify anyway.

ETA: 24 posters would be gods if the threshold were raised, with Kish just 8 posts away from deification to become 25.

Godhood isn't even being acknowledge these days. I really don't know when the practice stopped. It was a nice thing to happen, a community builder if you will. Now we're all kinds of but partisan around here. Anti's vs apologist. Republicans vs Democrats.

That's probably what bothers me most.

That and the people with whom you have to pull teeth to get an on point answer. But that's probably more of a personality or communication issue.

Or disorder.

But it's not really Republicans vs Democrats. It's Republicans vs everyone else. It's fantasy vs fact.
