So why are people taking low paying jobs Ajax?

Because if an American won't work for a low wage a Latin American will. It's the Democrats who are responsible for creating the class of people who belong to the working poor with their refusal to enforce the border.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Way to go. Redefine the poverty level to cut spending.

Enrollment down 25 million iver past year due to improving economy, and seeking to reduce State administration waste and abuse in the program receives a cynical conclusion from your OP.
Yep, well constructed argument ya got - thanks!

You have been shown this is not true, yet you also seem happy Trump is taking from the poor and giving to the rich. Why is that?

You simply refuse to believe it is true because it doesn't fit your political agenda. It's common sense and it's totally true.

Sorry but when others showed you the data you just did your usual run and hide routine. Now I'm not advocating for open border, but no one is. You don't even have a grasp of the problems associated with why people seek to immigrate from one area to another and how best to solve those problems. You also are ignoring that Trump likes to steal from the poor and give to the rich.

What does that mean in practical terms? That they're malnourished, even though they're obese? Like. What's your point?

Their data is skewed and doctored. It's collected with the conclusion already in mind. You can't tell me that flooding the market with millions of unskilled men and impoverished single pregnant women is boosting the US economy. It's importing poverty and nothing more. You can argue that it's our job to provide for these people but please have enough intellectual honesty not to argue that this is helping us financially. For 8 years Obama took money out of the pockets of middle class workers like myself and brought votes in the form of economic refugees from other countries. Now that this gravy train is slowing down (not even stopped) your side is screaming.

I have always been curious about this type of statement....how do you take something from people of do not have something?...or, in the context of this thread, are you saying that the food stamps are being taken from the poor and then food stamps are given to the rich?...or do you have some magic math that proposes how (and how much) this wealth re-allocation works.

You never even engaged the data to show what you already believed.

You can't tell me that flooding the market with millions of unskilled men and impoverished single pregnant women is boosting the US economy. It's importing poverty and nothing more.

I don't see any flooding, but importing poor people is the History of the US and it has done well in helping it's economy. Your just upset that now most of those people are not white like your poor ancestors who immigrated here.

You can argue that it's our job to provide for these people but please have enough intellectual honesty not to argue that this is helping us financially.

While I am not for open border, and no one is, your ancestors were poor and came to find a new life through hard work just as they want to. Most countries understand immigration helps their economies, and given the US's massive debt you will need a more people to deal with it.

For 8 years Obama took money out of the pockets of middle class workers like myself and brought votes in the form of economic refugees from other countries. Now that this gravy train is slowing down (not even stopped) your side is screaming.

Another false belief since they don't get to vote and I am not a democrat. I will be voting conservative in the election this fall, although I like and dislike things from both the conservatives and liberals. You are so closed minded you don't even know what my positions are as well as most others here.
